Joining is as "Easy as 1-2-3"

For years, those in agriculture have discussed building a politically focused coalition to defend our rights and protect our farms and ranches against political attack by those intent on limiting food and fiber choices to plants and synthetics. Since synthetics are non-renewable and not biodegradable, and less than 3% of the planet can support crops, such a restrictive food and fiber policy is misguided, literally a "starvation diet" for the world.

For this purpose, with input from many groups and individuals, we have established an ag rights defense coalition, AgRights.

AgRights is a coalition of Americans united to defend those raising crops and livestock for food, fiber and other purposes. We consider those raising animals for pets and other human benefits to be a key part of this coalition.

There is no fee to join and all you need to do is agree to certain principles and work with AgRights in opposing or supporting legislation that violates these principles. Join today!

AgRights will work with you to monitor legislation. We will identify legislation we oppose or support based on adherence to or violation of the Key Principles.

Once you have joined, you can add your voice to the official position of the AgRights Coalition. In turn, this AgRights Coalition will be officially registered with the pertinent legislative body.

The strength of an AgRights Coalition rests with the sheer volume of working farmers and organizations joined as one to protect our farms and ranches, and in our ability to act quickly by automating our response.

Instead of trying to build a coalition to fight each battle as it comes, we will be proactive and united.

If you are dedicated to supporting agriculture, now is the time to join AgRights.

We hope you will be an active partner in the efforts of AgRights to protect and defend our common interests. We invite you to be an integral part of AgRights and join today.

Sincerely,
Teresa Platt
AgRights Coalition Coordinator
